| When a Spell Doesn't Work |
First of all, just because you don't get the results you expected, that does not
automatically mean the spell did not work.
And, second, you need to take into account the circumstances under which the
spell was cast. Did you cast a spell for yourself? Did you cast a spell for
someone else? OR Did you have someone else cast a spell for you?
The two most common reasons a spell "did not work", irregardless of the
circumstances are: 1) The spell is actually working, just not in the way you
expected. 2) It is not in your best interests to have what you are asking for.
There can be many other subtle reasons a spell doesn't work, but let's look at
the two most common first.
1) A spell is working, but in a way not expected.
Let's say that you're working at a job that you really like, but you'd like to make
more money, so you cast a spell to increase your income, expecting the spell to
get you a raise or someone elses position making more money. But, after
casting the spell you lose your job instead!
What really happened? There was a different position available with a different
company that was much better suited for you, but you were not willing to
consider it because, overall, you were pretty happy with where you were
currectly working. This new position is much better suited to your natural talents
and abilities, it's much more challenging and rewarding, AND you would make a
lot more money!
In this situation, the only way you would even consider looking for work with
another firm is if you lost your current job! So, the truth is, the spell DID work,
just not in the way you expected it to.
2) It is not in your best interests to have what you are asking for.
I had one client who asked me to cast the spell Return My Lover for her. A few
months after the spell was cast she said the spell wasn't working and that he
was now dating someone new. I told her to trust that Universal Forces were
trying to protect her from something negative down the road.
About a month later she wrote to tell me that her boyfriend was in the news! An
old girlfriend he broke up with about a year before he met my client,
unexpectedly came back into the picture with revenge on her mind. This
ex-girlfriend broke into his apartment, shot and killed the boyfriend, his new
girlfriend, AND her two children before turning the gun on herself!
Can you imagine the horror and relief my client felt when she realized that it
could have been her and her children that might have been killed if the spell had
given her what she thought she wanted?! Universal Forces knew what was
about to happen and was protecting her and her children from this horrible
situation!
