What is Real Witchcraft?

First of all real Witchcraft has absolutely nothing to do with Satanism. In fact,
real Witches don’t even believe in Satan, they view Satan as a religious fairy
tale made up by Christians in order to force anyone who wasn‘t a Christian
into following their religion and worshiping their god. The Pagan God,
(known by too many names to list here), was the God of the successful hunt.
Christians took the idea of the Pagan God, twisted Him into something
completely different from what Pagans believed in, saying their God was evil.

The truth is, Witchcraft, also known as Wicca is actually a religion! In Wicca
they believe that creation is not possible without both a male AND a female
energy! And just as in real life, this is true, unless you know something I don’t!
Therefore, Pagans worship both a God AND a Goddess and they both have
equal power. One is not above or more important than the other. Women
were treated with dignity and respect, not as subordinate or secondary! In
Witchcraft you have male plus female equals child (or creation). (God plus
Goddess equals spell results). In Christianity you have male plus male
equals male! (Father plus Son equals Holy Ghost).

Some Christians even went so far as to turn the Pagan symbol of the
Pentacle upside down and claim it was a symbol of Satanic worship. Yes, I
know not very creative, but some people who were not familiar with Wicca
actually believed the twisted lies of Christianity regarding Witchcraft and
decided they wanted to worship a god they felt was somehow more powerful
than the Christian god, and viola! Satanism was born!. Christians ended up
creating the very thing they feared the most, an evil god more powerful than
their own! Even today real Witches (Wiccans) use the Pentacle as a symbol
of their belief, while Satanic worshipers use it upside down.

In Wicca, many props are used in an effort to gather, magnify, and focus
psychic power upon a desired result, otherwise known as “casting a spell”.
Most of these props, (such as candles, incense and so forth), in themselves
don’t create the desired result, but the focused attention and creative
visualization ability of the spell caster does. Some Wiccans have even gone
so far as to develop this ability to a great degree and they are able to create
a desired result simply by “wishing it so”.
